Born in Nicosia, 1942. She attended school at Terra Santa School in Limassol.

She married Vedat Kaner in 1959 and has four children from this marriage.

Emine Kaner, who speaks English, Greek, French and Italian, started her career at the family company in 1972. She also signed the successes of Kaner Group of Companies as Chairman of the company for 22 years.

In 1977, Emine Kaner lost her eldest son, but raised her daughter and two other sons to become a good manager and a good leader. In 2003, Emine Kaner has retired by transferring the responsibilities of the company to her children. Emine Kaner who is currently Honorary President of Kaner Group of Companies, continues her social responsibility activities as being member of Environmental Protection Foundation, Support of Life without Barriers and Free-Island Lions Kyrenia.
