ERCAN AIRPORT DUTY FREE OPERATION

The KANER Group of Companies received the first duty free license in Northern Cyprus in 1975. From the year 2013, Kaner received the exclusive operating right of duty free operation of Ercan Airport in Northern Cyprus for 25 years.

KANER Duty Free located at Ercan Airport has a total area of 2424 m2 including arrival, departure and last minute stores. Duty Free stores have a product range of over 20.000 kinds selling their valuable world brands in the category of Fashion and Accessories besides Perfume and Cosmetics, Confectionery, Toys, Electronics, Souvenirs, Travel Accessories, Tobacco and Tobacco Products and Alcohol Categories.

KANER Duty Free stores provide service through Ercan Airport operations to more than 3.5 million passengers 24 hours 7 days a week.

There are 2 Kaner Duty Free Shops. One is at the Girne Port and one at Famagusta Port, which can provide both arrival and departure room services.

Tax Free Zones

Kaner has 3 companies in total, 1 in Mersin Tax free zone named Aquamarine Foreign Trade and 2 in Famagusta tax free zone named Trading Ltd. and Vedka Ltd.
These companies serve for other companies and suppliers as well as for the import & re-export of the products we represent. Our tax free zone companies provide logistic services that request KANER products.
